Julia Hayward and Phil Cohen played the final match of the season in Div. 1 yesterday. The winner of the Division had already been decided with Richard Coles taking the main prize, but there was everything to play for as the winner of this match would stay in Div. 1 while the loser would be relegated. This time it went in Julia’s favour and it is Phil that will be playing in Div. 2 next season although with a number of matches still to be played in that division, we’re still not sure who will be taking his place.
