Richard Coles has had a busy weekend trying to fulfil all his league fixtures. After two matches yesterday with Rob Bolter he played a further two today against Jon Ayling, who has also managed to get four matches played in the last three days. In what was described as an “epic match” the first ended on a double with the score at 9-all and could have gone either way. It finally went to Richard and the second match, although not quite as close was still a well contested affair.

Today’s wins confirm Richard as the winner of Division 2 and he will be playing Div 1 backgammon next season. Congratulations Richard!
