It was great to see some new faces at the Club Night tonight which was a mix of learning, league matches and a couple of ‘ladder’ matches too. A big ‘thank you’ to some of our more experienced players who helped out as tutors for the newer players.

In the League, last seasons Div. 4 winner Steve Holman, got off to a good start by winning both of his matches against Peter Booth in convincing fashion. Meanwhile in Div. 1 Julia Hayward secured what could be an important win over Phil Cohen. With only 1 point separating all 4 players it will be a closely fought contest this season.
