Season 3 in the top flight is now underway in the Cambridge Backgammon League when Julia Hayward met with Roger Salmon today. Roger won promotion from Div. 2 last season and as the new kid on the block he’s had an early indication of what to expect in Div. 1. In the first match the dice seemed to be very one-sided in Julia’s favour, while in the second they were better behaved and it was a much closer affair.
