Fred Laband and Jeremy Chitsiga met yesterday for the first time this season at The Grant in Cambridge. It was a really close match where Jeremy jumped into a 2-0 lead only to be knocked back to trail 2-7, Fred benefitting from a large number of double 4s. But Jeremy struck back, getting more aggressive with the cube and took a 9-8 lead only for Fred’s doubles to return to win the day 11-9. The rematch is set to be another close encounter.
