Julia and Rob played their league matches yesterday. The first was rather one-sided, but the second claimed the Maximum Game prize, one point at a time and finishing on a close race!

Julia is now extremely likely to finish in the top two, and thus claim one of the two Champions League places for next year, representing the honour of Cambridge Backgammon nationally. However, it is still possible for both Mark and Roger to draw with her on points, if they win all their matches – on the other hand if Rob wins all his remaining matches, he could draw with her.
